Really this is the 55 lbs of frozen slimy smelling ozing goo guts that Todd found along the beach last week. After he got the flies off the pile he scraped it into this old cooler and saved it for Hailey to cut up....she had better ideas and so I became the Yummer Chummer ... Sure he says just hang on with both hands so you do not fly out of the airborn boat CRACCCK!and grab this razor knife to make a sort of "stew". Scrape that up with your hand and slog it into this orange bait thing. Oh and see that Squid head there,, grab a screwdriver and while holding the head between your legs ( get your head out a there chum champ) hammer it thru its eye and carefully ..CRACCK THUDD thread this wire thru its head.Here is video just click on the arrow to play.
Crab 808- All Keepers, some Chum cutting, and you wonder what made me sick??? Bouncing around in 10 - 12 foot seas, cutting bloody and ozzing squid with sharp knife ....and concentrating on measuring the crabs for proper size. No Wonder My Starbucks showed UP!

ReplyDeleteMy mom thought I was kidding about the P(uke) factor. Given I rarely or never get seasick. Perhaps it had been a while? Plus there were pretty heavy seas, we got fully airborn a few times. ..30 some foot boat, excellent crew and pilot but yourstruly=chummer was pretty talkative at first but quited down(up?) later on....

Two hrs later I check in with Burch on land, start telling him how many crabs and such.
