I know I have posted suggestions before about use and tech aspects of this blog and the care blog elsewhere.
As you know this what we call the "fun blog" is lighter in content. It is really for all of Burch's friends to share the many aspects of Burch, his life, his passions, his humor. Also there is a lot of his friend's and family's humor and stories.
Here is my example of good use.==>
We did just have a great gathering in Moraga at the Crab Feed/Fest.
Burch told some stories and showed some pictures of the past.
Many friends around the table enjoyed the evening immensely. I sure did, Burch sure did.
Now thru this 'funblog' I can post verbatim stories and pictures of what went on around that table. This way the Seattle Crowd for example can "virtually be there" and enjoy the evening too.
Just as happened at the table you too can comment with your memories of say Bar hoping in the city and did you know that bartender Harry on Folsom...even send me pics as evidence....whatever.
And thru those comments we can "be there"with Burch and his group of great friends. So please leave comments. We all get a kick out of stories, remember Billy C's rule of being at least 50% truthful and ignore the fact you have heard them before.....
And about the care blog, that remains more private, thus I do keep vague about it.
BUT pretty much the same suggestion/encouragement goes there. Post messages(as they are called there). There is more limited potential for photo additions there and no video.
On a more tech note..this last week I had some baseline probs with the video and card reading so slow to post pics. I suppose if anyone can help out with that aspect, better posting, go to youtube links? ? Some of you see my facebook pages I often "test post" the videos there, facebookers can easily ignore. See some times there just are format/ .mov/ .wav/ . mpeg issues I just do not get... hmm maybe I am busy barfing over the boat rail?
As per usual give me feedback if you wish. Some of these posts here on "fun blog" and the other care site will be viewed in all our futures as we continue to get so so much from our lives with Burch. LIVE EACH DAY AS A GIFT THAT IT IS. Love, Brogan, the other twin.

As a test I did just became a "follower" ..see that side bar on the right? I clicked in and gave my yahoo dot com address. I even selected [] follow privately...we will see what that means. Basically to follow means you get a little flag/email when someone has added a new post ( Brog/I do that) OR someone adds a comment.
ReplyDeleteDoes not matter if you follow , just saves you time on checking time to time.
Also note I am selecting 'anonymous ' for this here comment. So that works also if you are really nervous about spam or privacy. Of course I I suggested you can also get a 'shill type' email for this and funny stuff....like the 7 or 8 gmail accts I have or my yahoo or my msn or my 5 and counting facebook presences. As Burch said at Dad's Celebration last fall, I do spend some time on computers.....BUT hey I am not a nerd??!!!
