Brog came down, got thru Airport Security with all the equip and rigged up a mostly successful mock up version of the Cable Ride along the Back 40 fence line. You can see it is quite a high take off, about 13' up....over 125' long.

We cut a small path there to walk back to the platform. Needs a little adjustment to clear the seat from the dirt..Ouch!
The first test was the bucket , but that just crashed
into a plant and the roots of that big tree. So we needed a real "test guy". Of course B couldn't do it, cuz his oncologist specifically said take it easy after Tuesday's appt. You know, like go home, relax maybe have a nap. Of course I was there and he did not say anything regarding a cable ride. In fact I remember him saying something about walking or maybe exercise as a form of relaxation??So see the pic and the attached video to see B "relaxing".
In the weeks to come I will add real cable (3/8ths Aircraft) instead of rope and the seat from our boyhood Cable Ride.
I call out to B to raise his feet so as to NOT hit the bank or the tree. And will have to adjust that seat rope...seems like about 8 feet too high there at the dismount point.
