Hi Brogan, Well the Golden Delicious(request!) is in the ground as of yesterday. We had cookies sodas and for the adult diggers of the hole, Mexican beer. Three Dad's participated while the kids were zip lining and running all around the Back 40. Burch was definitely with us and guided us through the process.
Took plenty of pictures, as did we all. I'm not the best at uploading and emailing photos, so I'm hoping J will be able to provide you with some online, and if you give me your mom's address, I'd be happy to send copies via snail mail.
Wishing you and yours the very best, L
PS: Did we tell you that Kenny donated the tree? We're going to give all the proceeds from class to pancan and let the parents know to purchase their plant materials locally from Kenny to thank him for his kindness. Burch continues to influence our communtiy of Moraga!

I'd love to meet you at Moraga Nursery to talk to Kenny, whenever it works for you. I have copied J, who is..from class who collected all the tree funds, so if free can meet us as well. But I love the idea of making an event out of the presentaion. Doesn't need to be a big deal, but maybe we could bring some refreshments and let the kids help dig the hole and be a part of whole thing.
Best, L.

Hi Brog,
I'm sure you're very busy getting ready for the Bellevue Celebration of Burch's Wonderful Life. I am sorry to bother you, but we want to move on getting a tree purchased and planted for the Back 40 before school is out...Many of us have talked about wanting to be in Bellevue on May 8 but that is just not able to happen. We will however, be in tune at 5:22. Thanks in advance for whatever help you can give us. We really appreciate it and want to do something special to further enhance the Back 40.
Many Thanks, L
Thanks to class and parents for sharing this cool tribute to Burch.
